The University encompassed two schools: the School of East Asian Medicine, and the School of Business Administration. In 1997 SBU spun off the School of Business Administration to California University of Management of Sciences while it remained as the School of East Asian Medicine.<\/p>\n The University moved to Garden Grove, California in the s<\/span>pring of <\/span>1982 and incorporated <\/span>as a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation.<\/span> I<\/span>n the fall <\/span>of <\/span>1994, the <\/span>University relocated <\/span>to its present location in Anaheim, California. As a free-standing, accredited s<\/span>chool of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, SBU continued to grow and has become one of the largest and most <\/span>prestigious EAM schools in the USA.<\/p>\n As a leader in Asian Medicine, SBU provides student-centered education and training based upon the core value of HARMONY.
